Affiliate Disclosure
By The School Choice Index Editorial Team · Published · Last reviewed
The School Choice Index participates in a small number of affiliate programs with tools, services, and providers we think are useful to families navigating school choice — for example, tutoring platforms, curriculum vendors, and financial-planning tools. When we recommend one of these providers, we may earn a commission if you click through and sign up. We disclose this clearly, both at the link and on this page.
Editorial independence
Affiliate compensation does not influence which providers we recommend, the order in which they appear, or what we write about them. Coverage decisions are made by the editorial team before commercial discussions begin. We have declined commercial partnerships when we did not think the product was the right fit for our readers.
What we will not affiliate-link
We do not accept affiliate compensation from individual private schools, state program administrators, scholarship granting organizations, or advocacy groups. We do not run sponsored content. We do not accept paid placement in our state matrix or rankings.
How affiliate links are marked
Affiliate links carry the HTML attribute rel=“sponsored noopener noreferrer” as recommended by Google’s Webmaster guidelines, and open in a new tab. Sections containing affiliate links carry an inline disclosure label.
This site is not legal or tax advice
Nothing on this site, including any affiliate-linked product recommendation, constitutes legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, or educational placement advice. Consult licensed professionals for your specific situation.
